Hi! I’m Tina; 21years old and a junior at James Madison University. I’m a media arts and design major concentrating in print journalism and hoping to pick up a minor in history or writing.
While my blog revolves largely around money, I strongly believe that money in no way can make a person happy. I think if you have a loving family, a few good friends and an appreciation for the little things, then you’re doing something right. I’ve accepted that whatever career path I may take will be one that is not financially rewarding but fulfilling in other ways. So hopefully by keeping this blog I can learn to live frugal and have fun at the same time!
My passions include writing, reading and music. I also like to run and am hoping to do a marathon within the next year. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, The Office, 80s music, Ben Kweller, Ayn Rand, my roommates, cats, and any outdoor activity.
Lastly, i’ll end with my favorite quote and one that I try my best to live by:
“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting” -e.e. cummings

Our interests and passions are very similar, maybe we should move in together or something. And get a cat. Sound good?

If you had to pick one quote to center your life on, this is most certainly a great choice for adding balance and perspective. Great choice Tina!

This site made saving money a fun challenge.
There was good advice for everyone not just for college students. Will refer to it often for motivation!
